EXTRA EXTRA ! !

Unity Lodge brethren capture Traveling Gavel from Southern Lakes Lodge.

In a Blitzkrieg like move that even General Rommel would have appreciated, the brothers swept in, seized the Traveling Gavel, had coffee, and ate some excellent peach, cherry, and  apple pie. Enjoyed some good fellowship and then retreated to Kenosha under cover of darkness !

The Masonic Fraternity is abuzz with talk and on the lookout for a swift moving minivan. Where and when will Unity Lodge strike? Will they appear out of the early morning mists and have good fellowship with the brethren at Sunrise Lodge, deliver their charge and be off before the dew dries in the fields?  Will they infiltrate one by one into the Hungry Mason Night at Kenosha Lodge and deliver the Traveling Gavel with a resounding thud? Or are the brethren of Unity Lodge planning a long range assault deep into the far reaches of the county to deliver the “package” under cover of darkness to  Wilmot or Washburn Lodges!

What’s that? Is it time already? What do I hear?

Up goes the cry from the front door of the Lodge; “Boots and Saddles, Boots and Saddles my Brothers!”
